As primary care physicians, chiropractors are fully qualified to assess and treat non-emergency injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents.  Depending upon the severity of the injuries, X-rays may be needed to assess for broken bones and injured joints.  If Dr. Flaskey determines that he will be able to treat an injury in his office with conservative measures, he will do so; however, after taking a thorough history and examination, if he feels that a referral to an orthopedic or medical doctor is warranted, he has established a good referral group of doctors to ensure his patients receive only the best care possible.
